Django is a DELPHI software component from ICFM Software that offers fully configurable DDEML functionality.
As you have probably seen from the 'System' page of the Components toolbar, Borland does supply its own set of DDEML components. Unfortunately the scope and implementation of these components is very limited. It takes a disproportionate amount of work to set up and maintain multiple conversations and data transactions. Maintaining and evolving ongoing DDEML transactions is extremely difficult, and fraught with problems.
As each subsequent new version of DELPHI arrived we could not believe that Borland had carried forward the same poor DDEML components. That's when we decided to offer you a better solution.
In contrast Django offers a 'one stop' solution for all your DDEML programming requirements. Within this single 'super' component you get all of these features ….
'Django' is available for Delphi 5,6 ad 7. (though it can be made to work with earlier versions). The component is supplied with a detailed 115 page manual in 'Word' format and extensive on-line help. The product also includes 6 demonstrations applications that illustrate most aspects of Django's design.
Django is sold as a fully functioning independant DELPHI software component. No royalties are payable on any applications that use Django. The product comes with full source code. Select the 'Order' option below for information on how to order your copy.
An evaluation copy of Django is available. This evaluation copy does not include source code and will only function when the DELPHI IDE is open and running.
