Visible Delphi components for wall chart style Year Calendars

Aguado is a set of DELPHI software components from ICFM Software that provide support for wall chart style year calendars.

A universal aspect of most work environments is the wall calendar. This wonderful grid style display allows people to keep track of key dates, key events and other activities that are important to their environment. The Aguado component set has been designed to provide you with the very same benefits by delivering a visual year based calendar grid that works exactly like the wall charts people have been using for years.

Aguado supports key two aspects of the wall chart calendar metaphor - 'special days' and 'calendar bars'.

A 'Special Day' is a calendar day that records a special event or activity. Examples of special days might include public holidays, deadline dates and birthdays. A Special Day can be shown in a different background color, and have a text titles to annotate its purpose. The calendar can support any number of special day definitions. Once a special day type has been set up, any number of different special day 'entries' can be added to the calendar grid. For example, a 'public holiday' special day definition could have entries added for '1st May', '25th December' and '26th December'.

Aguado allows the calendar to display 'calendar bars'. These are horizontal bars drawn across a range of date cells. Calendar bars are normally used to display specific activities and events like vacations, visits, and month end reporting periods. Any number of different calendar bars can be set up, each of which can have their own title and color. Once a bar type has been set up, any number of bar 'entries' can be added to the calendar grid. For example, a 'Fred Vacation' bar could have entries for '1st May --> 10th May' and '3rd Sept --> 10th Sept'. Calendar bars can stretch across multiple months. The

	TAgdYearCalendarHeader	A header display panel used for showing the calendar title and offering month/year navigation options.
	TAgdBarKey	A legend style display for showing the calendar bar definitions.
	TAgdSpecialKey	A legend style display for showing the special day definitions.
	TAgdYearCalendar	A super component that includes the four components listed above in a powerful integrated display. This component supports drag and drop processes for adding new special bar and calendar bar entries.
